About Hanson.

Washington DC Native that realized the fulfillment and growth is through a thick jungle of uncertainty. Not at the end of the well lit path we're shown from society.

Well, in 2017, I was sick of chasing the wrong things in life. I chased jobs and business opportunities because it made me the most money.

I was afraid to speak out about what I wanted in life because I didn't want to be any different from my friends or family.

I was scared of going a different path, because I didn’t know anyone personally that did it.

I mean, I saw the Instagrams of people living and traveling all over the world. Working from their laptops.

But was it real?

How did they do that?

Where do you even begin to learn how to do that?

I was incredibly skeptical and hopefully excited at the same time.

The leap

I decided I was going to figure it out. No matter what. Even if I became homeless.

Mind you, I was 36 years old at the time.

I clearly remember deciding in my mind, that I would be ok with gambling it all and living in the street for this one attempt to create a life I dreamed of.

It was a hail mary for me. (just 2 years ago, I lost the majority of my life savings in a failed startup. I lost over 140k).

I felt like I was starting a new chapter in my life. And I didn't want to make the same decisions my old self would have made. Which was to base every decision on how much of a paycheck it might give me.

I've always wanted to live in a van and travel the world.

So I took my life savings (around 10k) and bought a 1 way ticket to New Zealand.

I bought a van and named him Charlie. Charlie and I traveled around New Zealand for 3 months.

I read a LOT. Philosophy, mindset, spirituality. I drank it all in.

I met a few colonies of sea lions.

I surfed with dophins.

I taught myself how to use a camera.

The wakeup call

And then I discovered my super power. I can learn things REALLY FAST.

I learned how to use a camera.

I became a professional photographer. Purely out of passion. I started working with clients and brands around the world.

This led me to becoming a videographer.

In less than a year of picking up a camera, I was working with brands like the Ritz Carlton and flying internationally to work with companies around the world.

I was shocked at how DIFFERENT this first 12 months was compared the the previous DECADE. I was growing and learning so much.

Then I combined my NEW skill with my OLD experiences.

This is where I hit mach speed in my personal growth. I used my experience chasing money and combined it with my superpower of learning. And I became a man of service. Everyone I met, if I was interested in what they did and how they made a living, I offered value in exchange of learning their craft.

Using this strategy, I learned digital marketing, copywriting, paid ads, systems, scaling online businesses, and negotiating partnerships.

In a few short years, I went from a novice photographer to scaling 2 multiple 7 figure companies and growing two teams of over 30 people.

Along the way, I've learned some things. I learned them by making mistakes.
